From September 23 through October 7, Christie’s will host an online only sale of Helmut Newton Photographs for Playboy from The Collection of Don Sanders.

The online only sale encompasses 20 photographs taken by Newton for Playboy magazine, acquired directly from the June Newton. Known for the remarkable composition and powerful eroticism of his photos, Newton shot for Playboy over the course of 30 years, for which he applied his revered eye for surrealistic fantasy to the playmates.

The sale can be exhibited alongside Christie’s September 29 Photograph auctions at 20 Rockefeller Plaza from September 26-29.
