Christie's is pleased to announce the auction, Photographs, to be held on May 20th at King Street, London. This sale presents classic, modern, and contemporary photographs, and coincides with the Photo-London Somerset House photography fair, underscoring London’s status as the prime European Spring-season venue for collectors and lovers of photographs. Included are rare prints by Irving Penn and Robert Mapplethorpe as well as monumental works by Peter Beard, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Vera Lutter.
