The portfolio reviews of Cortona On The Move 2017 and the first edition of the VISURA PORTFOLIO prize

Cortona On The Move international photography festival - edition seven - from July 13th to October 1st, 2017, is now accepting reservations for its portfolio reviews to be held during the festival inauguration on July 14 and 15. The portfolio reviews give you the opportunity to show your work to 19 international photo editors and photography pros hosted by Cortona On The Move.

For the very first time in Europe in the role of portfolio reviewer, Sarah Leen - senior photo editor of National Geographic will take part to the festival.

Cortona On The Move 2017 introduced a novelty for its portfolio review section: the VISURA PORTFOLIO prize which will be awarded by a jury composed of all the portfolio reviewers present at the festival. The jury will be headed by Scott Thode, editorial director of VISURA, the global networking platform for photographers and media and arts professionals.

The jury will select five portfolios among all those presented and their authors will be rewarded with free access to the platform. The first prize will be a Prime subscription while the remaining four authors will receive a Plus subscription.

There are two types of portfolio review: the Basic, lasting for 20 minutes, and the Premium, which is exclusively for long-term projects, giving you one full hour with your chosen reviewer.
Portfolio review bookings are available until all places have been filled. Bookings can be made through our website at www.cortonaonthemove.com/it/il-festival/letture-portfolio or by sending us an email to: portfolio@cortonaonthemove.com.

Book whitin 1st June 2017 for a 10% discount. All participate will receive a 50% discount to Visura’s Prime membership.

Image Consultant for Donna Moderna. She has worked as a photo editor for ten Italian periodicals and was the director of Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie di Arles for a year
