20 museums and art institutions, 13 private collections, 10 prize-winning project spaces, Positions Berlin Art Fair, Studio Berlin, Messe in St. Agnes and numerous galleries showcase the diverse Berlin art scene in this years’ edition of Berlin Art Week. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Berlin Art Week has come up with new formats and ways to create a safe environment to explore contemporary art in the German capital. This includes new digital formats like the Journal, taking the readers behind the scenes with articles, interviews, and photo spreads that explore the wide-ranging programme as well as the Playlist, which accompanies the visitors as a live and on-demand platform throughout Berlin Art Week. Moreover, local tours in the various neighbourhoods will give visitors the possibility to experience Berlin Art Week at their own pace.
