Guy Hepner Contemporary is pleased to announce the planned retrospective of the photography of David LaChapelle in association with Art Fortnight London, Pommery and TASCHEN. For the opening week of Art Fortnight London, The Gallery at 28 Cork Street will offer the voyeur an insight into the world of David LaChapelle. Described as "The Fellini of photography"(New York Magazine), David LaChapelle holds a rightful place as one of the most high profile, spectacular and respected photographers of the day. Working mainly in the field of fashion and celebrity, countless VIPs have gone before his hallowed lens, including Britney Spears, Madonna, Naomi Campbell and Paris Hilton, while magazines Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair and The Face have used his fantasy imagery and viewer eye candy on their pages for the last decade. This truly three dimensional event will be sensory feast for the viewer, featuring Lifesize portraits of the great, good and controversial 3D sets and installations inside and outside Oversize plasma screens showing David LaChapelle directed music videos Rapturous late night street party on Thursday, June 23rd in association with Art Fortnight London Exclusive preview showing of TASCHEN's forthcoming book Artists and Prostitutes, a limited edition sumo sized retrospective of the artist's work. On Thursday, June 23rd, there will be a special live audio visual event by invitation only. Doors open at 6pm, the show is scheduled to begin at 6.30pm
