Photo-Berlin is a new photographic project based on the city of Berlin.
It draws on the expertise and knowledge of internationally renowned photo-reporters and is divided into a series of in-depth workshops on a number of issues related to the city. There is an undeniably strong connection between a master photographer's long-term project and the theme which will develop during the course of the workshop. The master photographer is an expert on both a professional and contextual level and will guide and supervise ten photographers during the four-day workshop.
At the end of each workshop, 30 photos produced by participants will be chosen and they will feature in the project's collective exhibition, entitled Photo-Berlin, which will be held in Berlin during Summer 2013.
The first three workshops will be conducted by Monika Bulaj, Jocelyn Bain Hogg and Stefano De Luigi. They will be followed by Nina Berman, Olivia Arthur, and many others.
