Valentina Murabito (*1981) is an experimental photographer breaching the boundaries of b/w analog photography. Her works cannot be imitated with any kind of digital photography. She creates images with a new stylistic idiom, far away from conventional photography.

During the 1980s photographer and author Roland Hagenberg documented the art world in New York, where he met Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Francesco Clemente, Robert Mapplethorpe and dozens of other renowned artists in their studios. Among them was also Jean-Michel Basquiat whom Hagenberg photographed while painting, watching TV and consuming drugs. A couple of years later the painter overdosed on heroin at age 28.
