Exclusively focusing on what’s new in the photography world, Unseen provides a channel for up-and-coming talent to showcase their work.
This year Kahmann Gallery will represent new and exciting works by Bastiaan Woudt, Ester Vonplon, and Rogier Houwen at booth #30 in the Gashouder in the Westergasfabriek.
Stephan Vanfleteren (1969) studied photography at Sint-Lukas in Brussels. He started working as a freelance photographer for De Morgen newspaper. Four years after his graduation Vanfleteren won the first of his five World Press Photo Awards. Many national and international prices followed. Kahmann Gallery, founded in 2005, is located in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam. Although originally focusing on Dutch vintage photography, the scope has broadened over time to include equal volumes of work of international and contemporary photographers.

MIA Photo Fair, the international photography and moving image art fair of Italy, will stage its 6th edition in Milan from Friday, April 29 to Monday, May 2, 2016 at The Mall–Porta Nuova. The VIP opening will take place on Thursday, April 28.
The new photo manifestation Haute Photographie will host its first exhibition in Rotterdam from 12 to 14 February in Las Palmas 2, right next to the Nederlands Fotomuseum. Haute Photographie will give an overview of the many facets of the photographic medium, from abstraction to documentary, with the binding factor being the timeless and transcendent quality the works on show all have.
