Established in 2008 in the art complex NADiff A/P/A/R/T in Ebisu, Tokyo, G/P has discovered and encouraged young Japanese photographers whilst also organising platforms for them, such as THE EXPOSED shows and portfolio reviews. G/P gallery’s mission is 1) to discover, foster and promote Japanese young and powerful photographers, 2) to generate an appreciation for photography as an art form through discussions and criticism, 3) to be at the frontier of contemporary photography through maintaining active cultural exchange between international photographers.
