"PHOTOGRAPHS"

Janet Borden Inc is pleasedto present "PHOTOGRAPHS", an exhibition of a dozen good photographs.

The pieces range from Martin Parr's Pink Poodle, to Boyd Webb's 1996 extraordinary Viva, a still life with fake snakes. John Pfahl's Klimtscape changes up the scale of the works. These are wonderful individual photographs, which somehow inform each other and are enhanced by being shown together.

Classic images and fabulous color share the vocabulary of good art. A rare classic Robert Cumming conceptual image and John Baldessari's lithograph, from 1982, Studio, set the tone of the show. It’s a lighthearted exhibition, but serious photography.
