Robert Morat Galerie was founded in 2004 in Hamburg by Robert Morat and six years later expanded with a second location in Berlin.

The gallery focuses on 20th-century and contemporary photography, both by German and international artists. The gallery has always worked with established artists although it has a pivotal role in the discovery and promotion of new talent.
