The Hasselblad Foundation Victor Fellowship in Photography, 2015

The Mechanism is a visual science fiction story exploring ideas, fears and perspectives of the future. It is an image world of humans and machines, and it looks at how they are living in increasing symbiosis. I’m looking for subject matter that reflects a sense of melancholy for the future. By creating a flow from disparate images, I try to use the power of photography to create a narrative where meaning lies not only in the images, but also between them.
