"Picturalité & Graphisme" addresses a question of style: that of the pictorial and the graphic. This time the photographic medium transcend the boundaries of various artistic disciplines: it dilutes forms and contours to look more like a painting than a photo. It does away with the depth of field in favour of flat and plain surfaces to project a semblance of graphic art. Is photography growing weary of being itself? Quite the contrary: this is a manifestation of its freedom, a demonstration of its creative potential, a tribute to representation combined with imagination.
