Kerry Skarbakka's anxiety-provoking large format photographs depict figures falling from dreadful heights. These images, which document actual falls the artist has staged with the daring and skill of a Hollywood stuntman, signify the surrendering of control to external forces. As a result, feelings of helplessness yield to the more expansive sense of release and liberation. There will be a tour led by Kerry Skarbakka on Tuesday, December 17, at noon.
