The Levante as a confusing term that seemingly coincides with the geographic and mental state in which Ricardo Cases works: the Mediterranean coast, and in particular the Valencian Community and Murcia.
All of the projects by this photographer from Alicante are conceived and carried out in this region and share a photographic analysis of an area and its circumstances, a symbology created by a culture and the evolution of a landscape.
This exhibition brings together works created by Ricardo Cases since 2010 when he moved from Madrid to Valencia, and includes series such as Pigeons in Flight, The Reason of Oranges, It Could Have Been Avoided, An Elemental Study of the Levante and Sour Orchards, Blue Lemon Trees.
