Le Petit Palais invites Valérie Jouve to dialogue with her collections of ancient art. The artist creeps into history paintings to propose a political and contemporary re-reading. Valérie Jouve holds a degree in Ethnology, graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles, and has been photographing and exhibiting since the mid-1990s. His work is mainly focused on the question of the relation of the human to his space (the Passers-by, the Figures, the Characters, Trees, Façades, Landscapes...).
