The new edition of artmonte-carlo, which will take place from the 25th to the 28th of April 2019 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco and the leadership of Thomas Hug, will welcome new prestigious galleries including White Cube, 303 Gallery, Raffaella Cortese, Mazzoleni and Skopia who will join galleries loyal to the Salon d’Art since its creation such as Victoria Miro, Blain|Southern, kamel mennour, Perrotin, Mitterrand, Tornabuoni Art, Franco Noero, Continua and Air de Paris.

New exhibitions

We are pleased to announce the first edition of PAD Monaco, which will host 25 of the most important design, decorative arts and primitive arts galleries in the Diaghilev space of the Grimaldi Forum, adjacent to artmonte-carlo.

artmonte-carlo will be connected to PAD Monaco by a new section of 10 solo exhibitions presented by galleries, each featuring one artist. The Prix Solo artmonte-carlo - F.P.Journe will be awarded to the best solo exhibition by an institutional jury composed of Beatrix Ruf, Theresa Mavica (V-A-C Foundation, Moscow) and Cristiano Raimondi (Nouveau Musée National de Monaco).
The prestigious watchmaker F.P.Journe will acquire a work by the award-winning artist, which will then be donated to the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco.

Curated shows

In the luminous Verrière of the Grimaldi Forum, a vast installation by Anna Boghiguian, generously loaned by the Silvia Fiorucci Roman collection will welcome visitors at the entrance of the Salon.

With the exhibition Face to Face, artmonte-carlo will honor sculpture this year with a group show featuring a crowd of sculptural creatures in the Salon as well as three major works by Chinese artist Wang Du on the outdoor Esplanade.

Beyond the walls of the Grimaldi Forum and thanks to the collaboration of artmonte-carlo and Monaco Boat Service, the emblematic Tunnel Riva at Port Hercules will host Ruffles, an installation and performative evening by English artist Zoe Williams.
