Easily recognizable for their bright colours and unusual close-ups, Martin Parr’s photographs capture with great humour the peculiarities of his fellow human beings on the beach. Perhaps the ultimate place of freedom, the beach is also one of the rare public spaces where it is still possible to encounter the eccentricities that characterize a nation.

This exhibition presents a delightful collection of 23 iconic images by the British photographer, from the early work that first made his name, taken in British seaside resorts during the 1980s, to his most recent images captured in India in 2018.
