This exhibition project asks a simple question: how does photography attest to the situation of the refugees living in camps on the outskirts of the city of Calais? Through three approaches, that of documentary artist Bruno Serralongue and his Calais series (2006-2018), images by the photographers of the France Presse Agency published by the media, and finally, testimonies from the migrants themselves, the exhibition aims to present and explore the various functions, roles, and statuses of images.
