Shoji Otake left a major mark on postwar Japanese photography, working as a cameraman for GHQ immediately after the war with color film that was difficult to procure at the time. He was affiliated with various magazines and advertising media, capturing Japan’s rapid economic growth period in the 1960s. he was also known for his “Color Ladies” fashion photography series presented at Fuji Foto Salon. This exhibition features 30 of his works reprinted with the latest technology.
