The exhibition offers an extraordinary view of the breadth and variety of the Latino experience, encompassing national origin, economic status, education, profession, religion and language. It brings together the work of thirty top photojournalists—including Jose Galvez, Eugene Richards, and Alexis Rodríguez-Duarte—united by their common interest in the diversity and complexity of contemporary Latino life in the United States. With perspectives as distinctive as the many Latino communities they document, the photographers explore aspects such as national origin, economic status, education, profession, religion and language. The exhibition includes over 100 photographs as well bilingual texts by prominent Latinos such as celebrated singer Celia Cruz and the renowned author Carlos Fuentes.
