Two books published by Editions Images Vevey have been shortlisted for the Paris Photo - Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards 2022

In 2020, Woman Go No'Gree by Gloria Oyarzabal was the winner of the prestigious "PhotoBook of the Year 2020" Award of the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation New York. The dummy of this book has been granted a year earlier with the Images Vevey Book Award.

Since 2020, Editions Images Vevey is positioning itself as a genuine supporter of innovative publishing projects, in particular with the creation of the Images Vevey Book Award Images Vevey and setting up various collaborations with photobooks publishers.
In 2022, Editions Images Vevey has published eight books in collaboration with artists linked to the Biennial.
Two photobooks are preselected by the jury of the prestigious Photobook Awards 2022 Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation New York:

With her innovative Arrangements project, the laureate of the Images Vevey Book Award 2021/2022 rearranged entire pages taken from magazines or artists’ books. Drawing from a collection of over 2000 pages, she assembled them in pairs according to a shared topic or form, or at random. Carmen Winant reveals their content in a surprising way, with new editorial purposes in mind. Placed side by side, these torn pages shape new relational narratives.

PAOLA JIMENEZ QUISPE Rules for fighting (Reglas para pelear)
The publication Rules for fighting (Reglas para pelear) takes the shape of a notebook of intimate size in which the artist has collected images and notes related to the murder of her father in 1998, when she was still a child. This book is co-published by Images Vevey & Witty books. Paola Jiménez Quispe is the winner of the Images Vevey Book Award Special Jury Prize.
