In 1928, a bartender named Giuseppe Cipriani lent Harry Pickering, a young American tourist, all his savings so that Harry could travel back to the USA. He returned to Venice unexpectedly 2 years later, repaid his debts and enabled the bartender Cipriani to set up his own restaurant.
That was the birth of a legend: "HARRY’S BAR"
