Purple is pleased to present "Ship Going to the Mountains," a solo exhibition by Kyoto-based artist Sajik Kim as part of the "Monogatari/Narrative" series. The "Narratives" series explores identity issues in Japan, such as ethnicity, nationality, and gender. Each photograph is meticulously set up to create a world with a unique story that touches on the roots of existence, crosses over time, and reveals the activities and emotions of the artist.
