French-Canadian artist Kapwani Kiwanga will represent Canada at the 60th Venice Biennale in 2024.

The exhibition will be curated by Gaëtane Verna, Executive Director of the Wexner Center for the Arts, with whom Kapwani Kiwanga has already collaborated many times, notably during her solo exhibition at the Power Plant in Toronto in 2017 and for the publication of the artist's monograph in 2022 at JRP Ringier. The project will be on view at the Canada Pavilion and is commissioned by the National Gallery of Canada and produced in partnership with the Canada Council for the Arts.

In 2023, Kapwani Kiwanga will have numerous solo exhibitions, including :

- The MOCA in Toronto (CA), from February 22nd to May 7th 2023
- The CAPC in Bordeaux (FR), from June 29th to February 24th 2024
- The Serralves Museum in Porto (PRT), in September 2023
- The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg (DEU), from October 2023 to January 2024
