Christie’s Photographs Department in Paris is pleased to announce their Spring Photographies sale, an online auction open for bidding from 23 May to 6 June 2023.
The sale will feature property by significant photographers of 20th & 21st Centuries including Helmut Newton, Richard Mosse, Candida Höfer, Shirin Neshat, Peter Beard, Irving Penn, Nan Goldin, Cindy Sherman or Hiroshi Sugimoto. The selection offered for sale covers a vast panorama of different photographic genres including fashion photography, documentary photography and conceptual photography.

The highlights of the auction are a beautiful large ferrotyped gelatin silver print by Helmut Newton Roselyne at Arcangues and a magnificent Self-portrait by Robert Mapplethorpe taken in 1985.
All photographs will be exhibited at Christie’s Paris from 22-26 May and from 1-6 June.
