Relationships are often based on an idea of infinity. And yet, like everything in our world, they are transient. Depending on the situation and personal feelings, both transience and infinity can be a factor of hope or fear. No end without a beginning, no beginning without an end - what does this dynamic do to us?

In a poetic and partly symbolic way, the artist Liz Lambert explores the questions of how relationships come into being and develop, what role mental health and past experiences play in this and what effects they can have on oneself - in both a positive and negative sense. What does it mean to open up, knowing full well that this makes you vulnerable and open to attack? How to allow and endure fears and insecurities so that something greater can grow? In this work, Liz Lambert reflects on her personal experiences by combining self-portraits and spontaneous mobile phone photos of fleeting moments and allowing them to enter into a dialogue. Since the photos do not show faces and seem to be taken out of context, they radiate something mysterious and at the same time guarantee a certain anonymity. A space is created that allows for subjective emotions and interpretations.

Liz Lambert (*1993, Luxembourg) lives and works in Saarbruecken, graduated with a Master's degree in Religious Studies. In photography she has found a medium that allows her to capture and process her attentive and sensitive view of the world. She finds inspiration in everyday life.

(Liebes-)Beziehungen basieren oft auf einer Vorstellung von Unendlichkeit. Und doch sind sie, wie alles in unserer Welt, vergänglich. Je nach Situation und persönlichem Empfinden kann sowohl die Vergänglichkeit als auch die Unendlichkeit ein Hoffnungs- oder Angstfaktor sein. Kein Ende ohne Anfang, kein Anfang ohne Ende - was macht diese Dynamik mit uns?

Auf poetische und zum Teil symbolische Weise geht die Künstlerin Liz Lambert den Fragen nach, wie Beziehungen entstehen und sich entwickeln, welche Rolle dabei psychische Gesundheit und vergangene Erfahrungen spielen und welche Auswirkungen sie auf einen selbst haben können - im positiven wie im negativen Sinne. Was bedeutet es, sich zu öffnen, wohl wissend, dass man sich damit verletzlich und angreifbar macht? Wie auch mal Ängste und Unsicherheiten zulassen und aushalten, damit etwas Größeres wachsen kann?

In dieser Arbeit reflektiert Liz Lambert ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen, indem sie Selbstporträts und spontane Handyfotos von flüchtigen Momenten miteinander kombiniert und in einen Dialog treten lässt. Da die Fotos keine Gesichter zeigen und wie aus dem Kontext gerissen wirken, strahlen sie etwas Geheimnisvolles aus und garantieren gleichzeitig eine gewisse Anonymität. Es entsteht ein Raum, der subjektive Emotionen und Interpretationen zulässt.

Liz Lambert(*1993, Luxemburg) lebt und arbeitet in Saarbrücken, absolvierte einen Masterabschluss in Religionswissenschaft. In der Fotografie hat sie ein Medium gefunden, das es ihr ermöglicht, ihre aufmerksame und sensible Sicht auf die Welt festzuhalten und zu verarbeiten. Inspiration findet sie im alltäglichen Leben.

Les relations sont souvent basées sur une idée d'infini. Et pourtant, comme tout ce qui existe dans notre monde, elles sont éphémères. Selon la situation et le ressenti personnel, tant l'éphémère que l'infini peuvent être un facteur d'espoir ou d'angoisse. Pas de fin sans début, pas de début sans fin - que nous fait cette dynamique ?

De manière poétique et en partie symbolique, l'artiste Liz Lambert s'interroge sur la manière dont les relations naissent et se développent, sur le rôle que jouent la santé psychique et les expériences passées dans ce contexte, et sur l'impact qu'elles peuvent avoir sur soi - dans un sens positif ou négatif. Que signifie s'ouvrir, tout en sachant que l'on se rend ainsi vulnérable et exposé ? Comment accepter et supporter les peurs et les incertitudes pour que quelque chose de plus grand puisse se développer ?

Dans ce travail, Liz Lambert réfléchit à ses expériences personnelles en combinant des autoportraits et des photographies spontanées prises avec un téléphone portable à des moments éphémères et en les faisant dialoguer. Comme les photos ne montrent pas de visages et semblent sorties de leur contexte, elles dégagent quelque chose de mystérieux tout en garantissant un certain anonymat. Il en résulte un espace qui permet des émotions et des interprétations subjectives.

Liz Lambert (*1993, Luxembourg) vit et travaille au Sarrebruck, elle a un master en sciences des religions. Elle a trouvé dans la photographie un médium qui lui permet de fixer et d'assimiler sa vision attentive et sensible du monde. Elle trouve son inspiration dans la vie quotidienne.
