For this second participation, Les Douches la Galerie will present a beautiful collection of works by internationally renowned photographers. This includes August Sander and his monumental project People of the 20th Century, featuring the famous photograph "Young Farmers Going to Dance," from the private collection of Gerd Sander, his grandson, who passed away in 2021. Dieter Appelt, Gerd Bonferd, and Elfriede Stegemeyer are also featured in this German selection.

We are also very excited to continue our collaboration with South African photographer Roger Ballen, whose solo show featuring his early prints were shown at the gallery in the fall of 2023, allowing us to present vintage black and white prints and his latest drawings on color polaroids. Additionally, Man Ray, Moï Ver, Erwin Blumenfeld, Ernst Haas, Tom Arndt, and Romain Urhausen will also be highlighted on our booth.

Les Douches la Galerie does not forget the richness of the French photographic scene, presenting both vintage and contemporary works, in black and white and in color, experimental or documentary, by Roger Catherineau, Stéphane Couturier, Marc Foucault, Daniel Masclet, Jean Painlevé, Maurice Tabard, without forgetting Sabine Weiss, whose centenary is celebrated this year and who is currently the subject of an exhibition at Les Douches la Galerie with American photographer Vivian Maier, titled "Made in USA."
