In the photo series „Destinesia,“ a world beyond visible layers unfolds, provoking thought. This series opens up spaces for associations and memories that challenge our perception of reality. Each image in Auzinger’s work invites individual interpretation by elevating visual information to a meta-level. The motifs hover between fabricated image worlds, personal memories, and references to art history. The use of metaphors encrypts the content of the images, encouraging creative engagement.

„Destinesia“ extends beyond visual and thematic compositions and serves as a catalyst for reflections on pressing societal issues such as the climate crisis. Auzinger’s photographs encourage entering a realm of associations and questioning conventional concepts of reality. The title „Destinesia,“ a neologism from „Destiny“ and „Amnesia“, describes a phenomenon of mental diversion where the original goal or destiny is forgotten. Within the series, it symbolizes the invitation to viewers to reconsider their relationship with nature and reflect on the significance of current issues.
