The Emergence sector offers an exploration of the contemporary art scene at its most creative. The 23 solo shows organised by new galleries highlight a diverse range of techniques and themes, taking experimentation with the medium in new directions. From engagement with contemporary issues and experiments with perception to abstraction, the exhibition reveals the latest developments from a new generation of artists.
