On the occasion of Hungary by the Sea - the Hugarian Cultural Season in the Netherlands - VZC presents work by Ágnes Eperjesi and Gábor Kerekes. Eperjesi (1964) has been collecting images from packing materials for years now and gives these pictograms new meaning in her series 'Family Album'. Kerekes (1945) - an alchemist mastering traditional photographic techniques - uses satellite images made by the US of the Roswell area, which is supposed to be a UFO landing area. Taken from a US Army website, he combines these images and thus gives them new life and meaning.
