This collective exhibition features works by Elger Esser, Franck Christen, Gilbert Hage, Giulio Rimondi, Michael Wesely, Randa Mirza, Rania Matar, Serge Najjar, Sonja Braas, and Stephen Waddell, exploring the many forms, meanings, and contradictions of the natural world. Esser’s vistas, Wesely’s water lilies and Christen's Japanese river evoke meditative stillness, philosophy and visual traditions in landscapes. Hage leads us into the forest while Najjar explores tension and harmony between urbanism and the organic. Mirza questions what is “natural” in a digital age. Braas captures the sublime power of disasters and their quiet aftermath, and Rimondi faces climate collapse through glacial imagery. Waddell observes daily interactions with nature through a cinematic lens, while Matar links womanhood to Mother Earth and historical land. It encourages contemplation of nature’s grace and resilience, and the role we play in its preservation.
