On the occasion of the Paris Photo international fair, held from November 13 to 16 at the Grand Palais, PIASA is pleased to present a remarkable collection in which photography is showcased through carefully constructed dialogues across its various forms and modes of expression: prints, books, and portfolios.

It is quite rare to find, under the discerning eye of a couple of collectors, an ensemble that brings together rare vintage prints (by Bernd & Hilla Becher, Robert Adams, Dave Heath, Adam Fuss, or Nobuyoshi Araki) alongside some of the legendary photobooks of modern photographic history (Café Lehmitz by Anders Petersen, In the American West by Richard Avedon, The Bikeriders by Danny Lyon, The Ballad of Sexual Dependency by Nan Goldin, or Bye Bye Photography by Daido Moriyama).

This passionate relationship with the photographic image—extending from silver prints to the printed page—finds its perfect expression within the ingenious box sets published by Toluca and Coromandel. These extraordinary editions combine design (Ron Arad, Ettore Sottsass, Konstantin Grcic, Nendo), text (James Ellroy, Michel Bulteau, Mohammed Dib, among others), and photography (Jean-Marc Bustamante, Candida Höfer, Andres Serrano, Malick Sidibé, Graciela Iturbide, or Thomas Ruff).
