Red Horse — Sasha Kurmaz

Red Horse is an ongoing project initiated after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Conceived as a visual diary, it assembles daily collages made from personal documentary photographs, found images, notes, drawings, and discarded materials gathered in the streets.
The work conveys the artist’s witness account of life in Ukraine and how it is continuously reshaped under the destructive force of war.
