Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo 2026 is themed „SO BRITISH!“ and will take place from June 12th to October 11th, 2026.

The festival is based on three narrative strands:

Firstly, the „Conditio Humana“ is explored through approximately ten photographic series, examining the lives of people in a specific geographical region; secondly, the focus is on the state of the planet Earth, featuring reports from various countries and continents; In 2026, these are: Ethiopia • Burkina Faso • Chile • France • India • Japan • Cameroon • Mali • Mozambique • Nigeria • Norway • Austria • South Africa • Tanzania • USA

Finally, the third section of the festival presents works by Austrian photographers.

Das Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo 2026 steht unter dem Thema SO BRITISH! und findet von 12. Juni bis 11. Oktober 2026 statt.

Das Festival fußt auf drei Erzählsträngen: Zum einen wird auf einer jährlich wechselnden Geographie in etwa zehn Bilderzählungen die Conditio Humana verhandelt, also wie es den Menschen in einer bestimmten Weltgegend geht; der zweite Narrativ ist dem 

Zustand des Planeten Erde gewidmet – das heißt es gibt Reportagen aus mehreren Ländern und Kontinenten; 2026 sind dies Äthiopien • Burkina Faso • Chile • Frankreich • Indien • Japan • Kamerun • Mali • Mosambik • Nigeria • Norwegen • Österreich • Südafrika • Tansania • USA

Und schließlich präsentiert der dritte Teil des Festivals Positionen der Österreichischen Fotografie
