Curated by Jean-Charles Vergne and produced in collaboration with the Intesa Sanpaolo Gallerie d’Italia , the exhibition brings together the photographic trilogy on which the American photographer Crewdson worked for an entire decade in a single narrative journey. A visual journey that includes the series Cathedral of the Pines (2012-2014), An Eclipse of Moths (2018-2019) and the more recent Eveningside , providing a complete overview of the expressive maturity of one of the masters of contemporary photography. The exhibition experience will be completed and enriched with the screening of the film Making Eveningside , an important piece of documentary evidence that steps behind the scenes to examine the development and the complex production process that goes into every single shot taken by the photographer.
