At Photo London, Alta Vista Arts presents a group exhibition of seven artists whose works explore memory, identity, perception, and transformation through photography and mixed media. The gallery is dedicated to supporting contemporary female voices and artists who expand the language of photography through narrative, experimentation, and materiality.

The exhibition includes the work of Tama Hochbaum, whose photographs transform fleeting moments of vintage films from television screens into meditations on time, movement, and the emotional resonance of cinema; J.K. Lavin, whose IF series revisits performative self-portraits created in vintage analog photobooths examining beauty, self-perception, and the enduring influence of advertising on female identity; Erica Kelly Martin, whose psychologically charged images reinterpret mythological female figures, questioning historical narratives surrounding women, power, and desire; Sarah Hadley, whose layered photographs and collages explore femininity, longing, vulnerability, and psychological space; Sal Taylor Kydd, who has been shortlisted for the Photo London x Nikon Emerging Photographer Award, and whose ethereal works reflect on grief, healing, and reconnection; Pamela Takiff, whose abstract photographs emerge from overlooked surfaces and fragments of urban life, transforming them into expressive compositions that reflect both fragility and resilience; and Dawn Watson, whose abstract photographic works investigate atmosphere, light, and ambiguity, creating evocative spaces that move between recognition and abstraction.
