ROCKET, founded by Jonathan Stephenson in 1994, first collaborated with the internationally acclaimed British photographer Martin Parr in 1997 and has since presented 14 solo exhibitions by him including most recently : NO SMOKING.

Other photographers included in the gallery programme include Matthias Hoch, Keld Helmer-Petersen and Paul Shambroom, alongside a roster of contemporary artists making paintings and sculpture, all of whom pursue an interest in colour. The second-generation gallerist Sid Stephenson started to curate at ROCKET in 2021.

ROCKET presented the first commercial London gallery exhibition of Martin Parr’s photographs in 1997 and now exclusively represents his Estate in the United Kingdom – and internationally through close partnerships with other art galleries – selling the limited edition photographs from his Studio Archive.

Later in the year, ROCKET will also be exhibiting THE LAST RESORT by Martin Parr.

At Photo London 2026, ROCKET will be honouring the legacy of Martin Parr and his photographs after his untimely passing in December 2025.
