On June 1, 2026, the world celebrated the 100th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s birth. Few figures of the twentieth century have left such a lasting imprint on our collective visual memory. A century later, Marilyn Monroe remains an enduring symbol of glamour, vulnerability, celebrity, and the power of images.

To mark this occasion, we are proud to present Maryline by French photographer Dolorès Marat at Photo Basel 2026.

Through her distinctive visual language, Marat transforms one of the most recognizable icons in history into a fleeting vision of light, memory, and atmosphere. The photograph is not only about Marilyn Monroe, but also about the enduring life of images and their place within our collective imagination.

We are especially pleased to present this work in collaboration with Howard Greenberg Gallery, which has represented Dolorès Marat in New York and Paris since 2024.
