How was the cabaret born? Where does the French Cancan come from? What role did Joséphine Baker, or even Mistinguett, play in the evolution of the art? The photographic exhibition Cabaret(s) - A Living Legacy, as part of the Cabaret Season, invites us to look back on this extraordinary adventure. It offers a journey in images where light, costumes, bodies and movements interwine, weaving a narrative of creation, freedom and heritage.
Also recognized as part of the Bicentennial of Photography, the exhibition showcases photographic series organized into five themes centered on the diversity of cabaret, its ability to cross eras and great figures who have shaped its history...
