Politicians, celebrities, migrant workers, roustabouts, authors, gold miners, circus performers, sports figures and fashion models all "faced the camera" for LIFE Magazine. Stellar portraits and candids of Marilyn Monroe, Jacqueline Kennedy, Allen Ginsburg, Georgia O’Keefe, Man Ray, Jackie Robinson, and Sophia Loren, among others are all included.
