A work realized in collaboration between a Japanese and a Chinese artist for the Second Guangzhou Triennial is being shown for the first time in Japan. The drawing, 12m in length, was made by Japanese Ozawa Tsuyoshi and Chinese Chen Shaoxiong by sending a paper roll back and forth between Japan and China. When Ozawa drew a dish, Chen filled it with food... Go and check out the results of this "inter-cultural conversation through painting", and read also Ozawa's own story about the trouble the two artists went through in Guangzhou, in the special edition of the regular RT feature The Group 1965's Tokyo Guide. This exhibition displays next to said drawing and related documents also a sample of Ozawa's new invention: "Shoyuhanga ("soy sauce print").
