Exhibition at Boehm Trade Center Net Gallery: 29 Sep - 13 Dec 2006 Exhibition at Gallery M: 3 Dec 2006 - 28 Jan 2007 In the process of photographing "In My Room," a Kimura Ihei Photography Award winning work, Ryudai Takano took pictures of the subjects with a small camera before using the big camera for the main work. A small camera was used for the purpose of generating communication and creating a good atmosphere between the photographer and the subject. With his usual camera for the work, he finds it difficult to create such an atmosphere, because it takes time to take a photo with it. In order to establish relations with the subject, he used an easy-to-handle camera to narrow the distance with the subject as a preparatory work for making "In My Room."
