Leading Russian contemporary artist, Olga Chernysheva, (b.1962, Moscow), draws the marginal into her frame and focuses on the overlooked. Seeking poetry in the everyday, her work aims to bring warmth into contemporary art, while documenting scenes of isolation amid the post-soviet 'thaw'.
