That's the thing with photography, you're trying to engage thr world with your camera but at the same time you are also hiding behind it. It's a constant push and pull. I don't think my pictures are looking specifically at people on the edge of society, even though sometimes they do, instead the work is looking at a larger generation and trying to understand something about how these people live their lives....
