THE STREET PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
INTERNATIONAL AWARD 2012
Call for entries
There is one month left to enter the 2nd International Street Photography Award and the organisers are looking for exceptional international photographers who display a unique style and depth of work in the genre of street photography.
The ISP Award is at the forefront of a growing global movement to acknowledge and explore this time-honoured photographic tradition.
In July 2011, Australian photographer Jesse Marlow was flown to London to be officially awarded first prize for the inaugural International Street Photography Award. His work embodies the spirit of street photography and his images echo the festival's definition perfectly:
“Candid photography which captures, explores or questions contemporary society and the relationships between individuals and their surroundings.”
Marlow and twelve finalists were exhibited alongside the first UK exhibition of Vivian Maier throughout the month of July at the stunning German Gymnasium in King's Cross in London.
