Liesje Reyskens' photographic work is characterised by the vibrant crossover between realism and fantasy. For this picture, she uses augmented reality to expand into new dimensions. In doing so, the artist creates a completely new experience that leaves the typical look of a photographic image behind us.

To read this experimental installation, you have to download the app called 'Liesje', available in the appstore from the 26th of May 2012.

When starting this app for the first time, make sure you are already connected to the internet.
The app is launched when you load the online content for the first time; without the content the app won't do anything.
Then, point your mobile device directly towards the photograph and experience a stunning animation in the virtual layer.
