Rejoignez-nous pour le vernissage de l'exposition des lauréats du “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” PX3 2012 & “Altered images”, prix décernés par un jury international constitué d'éminents professionnels de la photo.

Le PX3 a pour ambition de promouvoir la création photographique contemporaine, de découvrir des talents émergeants et d’apporter à la scène artistique française les tendances photographiques du monde entier. Les lauréats de ce concours sont exposés dans une galerie à Paris et leurs photographies publiées dans le superbe catalogue annuel de PX3.


Depuis six ans, PX3 connaît un égal succès et a reçu des milliers de candidatures du monde entier de très grande qualité. Ces dernières ont été jugées selon les catégories suivantes : publicité, photojournalisme, livres, beaux-arts, nature et portraits, toutes comprenant ensuite des sous-catégories.

Le Grand Prix intitulé “Photographe PX3 de l’année“ 2012 a été remis à Jonathan Knowles (Royaume Uni, professionnel), pour sa série Liquid Beauty (catégorie Publicité).
Le Prix PX3 du “Meilleur jeune Talent“ a quant à lui été décerné à Miguel Candela (Espagne, non professionnel), avec Brothels: Living in Darkness (pour la catégorie Photojournalisme)

Les lauréats du Prix annuel PX3 ainsi que certaines images des lauréats de la compétition Altered Images seront exposées à Paris à l’Espace Dupon du 10 au 17 juillet 2012.

Please join us for the premier exhibition of winning photographs of the "Prix De La Photographie, Paris" PX3 2012 & "Altered images", a price awarded by an international jury of photography experts.

The PX3 strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and to introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.
Winning photographs from this competition are displayed in a gallery in Paris and published in the high-quality full colour PX3 annual book.

For six years now, PX3 has been enjoying a permanent success receiving thousands of highly-qualified applications from all over the world. They are evaluated according to following categories: adversiting, press, book, fine art, nature, portraiture.
The winner of the Px3 Photographer of the Year is the professional photographer Jonathan Knowles from the United Kingdom, recognized in particular for his photograph titled "Liquid Beauty".
The recipient of the Best New Talent Award is Miguel Candela from Spain, awarded for the overall quality of submissions in the press category, for his submission "Brothels: Living in Darkness".
The Photographer of the Year, Best New Talent of the Year, and selected medallists (both professional and non-professional/student) will be invited to show their work in Paris at the Espace Dupon between July 10th – 17th 2012.
