This November Bernheimer Fine Art Phtography presents an exclusive portfolio of fashion, portrait and female nude photography. This includes established artists such as Horst P. Horst, Robert Mapplethorpe, Annie Leibovitz and Jeanloup Sieff. The exhibited young talents are Cathleen Naundorf, with her photographs shot at the Grand Palais, and the portrait photographer Jan C. Schlegel.

Within the scope of the special exhibition “Aqua # 2” the photograph “Nu de la Mer, Camargue, 1967” by Lucien Clergue is nominated. The special event was founded by Giorgio Armani and focuses on photography that illustrates one of the elements, water. Following suggestions of the directors of LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles), Huis Marseille and the Photomuseum Winterthur as well as the participating gallery owners Mr. Armani personally selects the works to be shown. Bernheimer Fine Art Photography has represented the French photographer Lucien Clergue for a number of years. In his works the artist explores the forms of the body without striking voyeurism. Clergues works are creative instruments, provoking the viewer’s emotions and impulses.

Under the title “Paris Photo seen by” David Lynch introduces his personal highlights of the fair. The marked course recommended by Lynch from stand to stand, also available as App, grants a rich variety of impressions to the visitor and reveals the individual taste of the artist at the same time. At the Bernheimer Fine Art Photography stand David Lynch notes that he is greatly impressed by the expressive nude study “Maryanne, 1988” by Robert Mapplethorpe, which reveals an interest in the art of the antiquity.
