Kuckei + Kuckei was established in 1993 by the brothers Ben and Hannes Kuckei. In 1998 they moved to Linienstrasse 158, right into the center of what was then Berlin’s booming young gallery scene. Their programme is based on contemporary positions by international artists with whom they have established profound relationships and for whom they act as agents whilst following their careers. The artists represented by the gallery are usually conceptual and express this in various forms. The gallery hosts both solo and group shows and presents photography, painting, drawing, object and video installations.
